Thanks to the power of online shopping, we can compare prices from anywhere easily. But what if you saw the same product at two stores and one had a different price than the other?
If you’re lucky, some stores can price-match your desired product! Price matching is a process adopted by certain retailers to match the pricing of their competitors. In the event that a product is priced higher than the competition, a retailer will adjust their price accordingly in order to secure the transaction.

Does La-Z-Boy Ottawa & Kingston Price Match?
Without wasting any time, let's address the proverbial elephant in the room head-on.Yes, La-Z-Boy does price match! However, there are specific conditions that managers follow when price matching a La-Z-Boy product.
To begin, there are two different types of price matching that La-Z-Boy can do. One of them guarantees that we have the lowest price against our competitors, while the other is price matching within our local La-Z-Boy Ottawa & Kingston locations.
If you have recently purchased a furniture item from one of our stores and subsequently notice a sale within 30 days of your purchase, we have a price match policy in place. This means that if the price of your specific item has decreased, we will gladly match the difference in price for you.
When it comes to competitors, we will not only match the price but also beat it by the difference plus 10% of the difference on advertised prices only. See the conditions below…
Identical Furniture Products
The other condition to price matching is that the furniture item must be identical to the product you purchased, or La-Z-Boy will not be able to price match it. This means it must have the same SKU as the product you bought previously. The more specific you get with your customizations, the harder it will be to price match.
For instance, if your furniture item has a different fabric colour or if you have added additional options or upgrades to the item in question, we cannot guarantee a price match.
Exclusions to La-Z-Boy Ottawa & Kingston Price Match
If your inquiry meets the criteria mentioned above, La-Z-Boy will guarantee a price match. However, certain exclusions to this rule can prevent you from price matching an identical furniture item.
Clearance Items
Clearance items are specific furniture pieces that have either been discontinued or have minor flaws within the product, which would in turn be reduced in price. La-Z-Boy cannot guarantee a price match if the product is on clearance.
Stores with a 100-Kilometre Radius
Price matching is a process that must be done locally. La-Z-Boy Ottawa / Kingston locations will not commit to a price match if it is outside the 100-Kilometer radius of their stores.
Online Retail Pricing
Similar to the previous section, we will price-match online retailers within a 100-kilometre radius of local delivery. However, this excludes online-only retail stores.
This also applies to different La-Z-Boy websites. This means that if you saw a price from lzb.com that was different from a price you saw on our own website, stylemeetscomfort.ca, La-Z-Boy Ottawa & Kingston cannot price match those products because they cannot be delivered locally.
Must Be New
As you know, La-Z-Boy’s price matching process has to be done 30 days after purchasing a product. However, the price-matched item must be new. If that is not the case, the item will not get price matched.
