La-Z-Boy is an American company established in Michigan, United States, over 90 years ago.
Although the company has American roots, the Ottawa and Kingston locations have been locally owned and operated by the Maxwell family since 2011.
La-Z-Boy is renowned for its high-quality custom made furniture that is both stylish and comfortable. One of its popular catchphrases is “style meets comfort,” which perfectly captures the essence of its brand.
Although La-Z-Boy is known for its high-quality living room furniture, the company also offers furniture for other rooms, such as the bedroom and dining room. Additionally, La-Z-Boy also offers a wide variety of home accessories and decor.
Regarding an online platform, La-Z-Boy Ottawa & Kingston has a website called stylemeetscomfort.ca. The website is a great resource for browsing the product selection, learning about furniture, and staying up-to-date with current sales.

La-Z-Boy is a global manufacturer operating in North America, Asia, and Europe. La-Z-Boy’s products are primarily made in North America for North American markets, with their global headquarters in Monroe, Michigan.
Our recliners, chairs, sofas, and sectionals that are sold in Ottawa and Kingston are mostly manufactured in Dayton, Tennessee.

Customization Options

The preliminary design consultation is complimentary, but other steps moving forward will cost you. If you decide to proceed with a full room and decor package, the price per room is $250, as well as $50/hour for any additional work.
Each full-room package includes preliminary budgeting, a shopping list, mood boards, two layout options, and preferred pricing on pieces from Dala Decor.
Dala Decor also has a Trade program for any interior designers looking for a supplier for their business.
La-Z-Boy Interior Design Services
La-Z-Boy offers complimentary interior design services with any purchase. La-Z Boy's interior designers will work with you one-on-one to provide personalized furniture and design recommendations.

Warranty

Dala Decor Warranty
At Dala Decor Canada, each product has a specified warranty. Most products have a standard manufacturer’s warranty of 1-2 years, but some custom products can have warranties lasting up to 10 years. These warranties are dependent on which supplier the furniture is from. All warranties cover furniture frames and other repairable materials.
Dala Decor’s warranty does not apply to products that have been misused, abused, accidentally damaged, or cleaned using the wrong materials.
La-Z-Boy Warranty
La-Z-Boy quality furniture is known to be a long-term investment.
If anything happens to your La-Z-Boy furniture, products carry a manufacturing warranty covering damage caused by manufacturing error or workmanship.
The mechanical and frame parts are covered for a lifetime, while others are covered for 1-3 years. This warranty is applicable across all upholstery categories consistently.

Delivery
La-Z-Boy and Dala Decor Canada both have different delivery services available for an additional cost. To learn more about these delivery fees, contact either retailer.
Dala Decor Delivery
Dala Decor has two main delivery service options for customers.
First, there is a domestic white glove delivery for orders over $2,500. This applies to any non-rural areas in Canada.
Delivery can take up to 2-5 weeks upon purchase and is complimentary for one scheduled delivery only. This means that once all your ordered items have reached the warehouse, they will all be delivered together.
As for rural delivery, if you are outside the urban delivery area (50 km from the closest city hall), Dala Decor’s customer service team will provide delivery options for your location. Any additional distance from a city hall costs $1 per km.
La-Z-Boy Delivery
La-Z-Boy offers a white glove delivery service that includes set up, assembly, re-arranging furniture, and disposal of old furniture at an additional cost.
At La-Z-Boy, local Ottawa & Kingston delivery costs $129.99, and out-of-town delivery costs $169.99. If you have used the design services, the delivery men will set up your furniture based on your predetermined floor plan.
For an additional fee of $25 per furniture piece, we can assist with either moving out old furniture from different rooms or bringing it to the curb.
Additionally, we offer the option to dispose of any old furniture in a local landfill at an extra charge of $50 / per furniture seat.
