About Uttermost

Uttermost is a global manufacturer founded by Bob and Belle Cooper in 1975. Since its inception, the company has been managed under the Cooper family name, currently led by Mac Cooper.

The Cooper family believes in Christianity, which is why the name Uttermost was taken from a bible verse, specifically from Acts 1:8, "to the uttermost part of the earth."

Uttermost believes in crafting a culture that is founded on the principles of partnership, respect, and passion. This is seen through the dedicated work of their employees, from the interior designers to the factory workers who make the products.

For over 40 years, this home decor and furniture supplier has grown into the brand you see today! In 2015, they also expanded to include another brand under their belt called Revelation, which is described as a “More exclusive brand of products, with more limited distribution.”

More specifically, Rocky Mount, Virginia, is where their 713,000-square-foot manufacturing facility resides, along with a 233,000-square-foot state-of-the-art distribution facility in Moreno Valley, California.

There are also hundreds of other employees operating local and international manufacturing facilities, most located in Asia, Europe, and North America.

Further, Uttermost has four showrooms located in North Carolina, Atlanta, Dallas, and Las Vegas. These showrooms are not open to the general public but are available for those who are associated with a furniture retail partner.

How to Purchase an Uttermost Product from La-Z-Boy

If an Uttermost decor item is in stock at any of our Ottawa or Kingston showrooms, you can purchase it and take it home directly from the store. However, if the product that you may have seen online is not in our showrooms, you may be out of luck. 

According to La-Z-Boy’s merchandising team, American suppliers like Uttermost and Cyan only get ordered twice a year and get put into the La-Z-Boy showrooms afterward. 

If you’re looking to order products you cannot see in-store, Canadian brands like Renwil and Surya will have products that you can order using the in-store catalogues. Unfortunately, you cannot order from the Uttermost catalogue. What we offer in the showroom is the selection to choose from.
