Kennedy Chair

For individualized comfort, the Kennedy stationary chair is a petite-scale chair that looks great in either a small room or a large room. You can also pair this furniture frame with the matching ottoman, so you can kick your feet up in style.

Kennedy Loveseat

The newest addition to the Kennedy furniture family is the stationary Kennedy loveseat, which adds a more intimate furniture frame that the Kennedy was missing. Now you can snuggle up to that special someone with Kennedy’s traditional and modern fusion look.

Kennedy Sofa

Giving off a sleek and casual look is the original Kennedy sofa, which is the perfect size for family-friendly relaxation. It also includes two 20” accent pillows that you can customize as well.

There are many different features that make the Kennedy furniture family unique from other furniture pieces at La-Z-Boy.

Zeina describes this furniture family as a very comfortable and cushiony set of furniture pieces. “It is very modern and traditional, so you can change the look of the pieces depending on the fabric you decide to put on it,” she says.

The reason why Kennedy’s look is transitional is because of its traditional sleek rounded arms which give it a more classic design. The rest of the look has modern elements.

Its combination of clean lines, narrow track arms, welt trim, and decorative wood legs give it a classic, understated style that blends easily with any decor. Its clean and simple design means it can be dressed up for formal rooms or dressed down for a more casual setting.

Sizes & Dimensions

Zeina notes that the Kennedy furniture family features furniture with smaller frames, which means it can be comfortably placed in smaller spaces. 

More specifically, the Kennedy furniture may fit nicely in a condo or an apartment. This is especially true when referring to the Kennedy chair and the apartment-sized sofa.

Although the Kennedy seats are not too deep when sitting in them, the furniture products do, however, ideally fit seat someone tall. These individuals include anyone with a height of 5’10” - 6’2”.

The reason why this furniture family suits taller individuals is mainly because of its decorative wood legs that elevate the furniture from the ground.

When looking at Kennedy’s options and upgrades, there are plenty to choose from. It is important to remember that all options and upgrades come at an additional cost, meaning the price of your Kennedy furniture is subject to increase. 

Fabric & Leather Options

La-Z-Boy has over 800 fabrics and leathers to choose from, making the experience of personalizing your furniture seemingly endless.

Zeina reveals that the Kennedy comes in 10 different select fabric options in 2 different textures. These fabric options do not increase the base price of your Kennedy. When it comes to leather options, you can add leather covers, but they will come at an additional cost.

Should you choose to purchase any fabrics or leathers that are not included as select covers, you will be subjected to an additional fee. Leather options, beyond the select leather selection, will always increase the overall cost.

Sleep Sofa Upgrade (Full & Queen)

The Kennedy stationary sofa comes in many different variations, including two sleeper sofas.  Customers have the option to choose between the Full Sleep Sofa or the Queen Sleep Sofa. 

With either of these options, you can easily turn your living room into a sleepable guest room.

Along with the unique features of the original sofa, the Kennedy full and queen sleepers offer overnight guests a full/queen-size supreme comfort quilted innerspring mattress that measures 5.5” thick.

Apartment Size Sofa Option

For the same price as the original Kennedy Sofa, the Kennedy is also offered as an Apartment Sized Sofa.

Smaller than the Kennedy Sofa and the Queen Sleep Sofa, the Apartment Sized Sofa is perfect for any small living space. This sofa has two seat cushions instead of three, while still being bigger than the Kennedy Loveseat

If the Full Sleep Sofa is something that interests you as well, both sofa options have the same size and dimensions. So you can also turn your small space into a temporary guest room.

Pillow Options

The Kennedy loveseat and sofa comes with pillows, which means you can customize those as well. You can accessorize your pillows by adding an accent colour to them, as well as contrasting welt, cording or fringe. Luckily for you, the Kennedy furniture family also includes 3 additional select accent pillow options, meaning those will not affect your price.

Welt Trim

Customers can also choose a contrasting welt trim to give your Kennedy furniture more character. Pattern welt trim options are also available to make an aesthetically pleasing furniture piece.

The Kennedy is covered by La-Z-Boy’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of the frame, spring systems, and mechanism, given that they are quality-crafted and built for long-lasting comfort.

While still quality-crafted, other aspects of the product, such as fabrics, leather, and cushion, are not meant to last a lifetime. However, these parts are still covered by the La-Z-Boy Manufacturer’s Warranty for a given period of time.
