Adding a new spin on a classic look, the Kimberly High-Leg Recliner is a classic and timeless style that blends old and new elements of comfort. 

What’s interesting about this furniture piece is that it is, in fact, a reclining chair. Yes, a recliner! La-Z-Boy has many different types of recliners, and this is just one of them. 

While it may appear as though it is only stationary, Kimberly can recline by simply pushing back on the arms of the chair. Once users reveal the hidden legrest underneath the frame, they can recline in two comfortable positions.

The Kimberly also features a dressed-up formal look, with a softly-tailored back, padded rolled arms, and graceful cabriole legs for a stylish-looking piece.

Elaina notes that this compact recliner chair is average in scale, meaning it can fit a smaller space well, but also fit anyone that may be taller than usual. “This is because of the Kimberly’s tall back,” she says. Specifically, those between the heights of 5’5” or higher may benefit from Kimberly the most. 

While your height can be a considerable factor, it is important to note that height guidelines are NOT set in stone. The way you sit in a furniture item can drastically affect how someone might find a seat comfortable.

Is the Kimberly High-Leg Recliner Right For You?

Now that you’re aware of what the Kimberly has to offer, is this the right reclining chair for you? To help you out with your decision, let’s take a look at your budget, the functionality and the style of the furniture frame.

Firstly, the Kimberly is considered in the more affordable price range for recliners at La-Z-Boy. It isn’t considered too expensive because the reclining mechanism is not as intricate as traditional recliners.

However, it is important to note that La-Z-Boy furniture is considered expensive compared to other furniture stores in Ottawa and Kingston.

Although this is the case, La-Z-Boy furniture is made to last longer than other furniture pieces, due to the higher quality materials used within the construction of the piece. This means you’ll be potentially saving money later down the road, with less risk of damages happening over a shorter period.

Secondly, the Kimberly is a multifunctional piece of furniture. Given that it is a push-back recliner, you have the choice to use it however you see fit.
