At La-Z-Boy, there is a lot of reclining furniture to choose from. Since we are the inventors of the modern recliner, it would be a shame if we didn’t have such a vast selection.
As much as our reclining selection is big, some products come and go, which allows newer styles to freshen up the showroom floor.
This has been desperately needed for our Lift Chair selection, which has needed some fresh and exciting looks. Since the discontinuation of older products, we have only had four lift chairs to choose from, leaving those wanting more variety, unsatisfied.
So, with the introduction of our latest new lift chairs, like the Jean Lift Recliner, we can now invigorate the selection with a new style that is sure to please new customers.

Unique Features
First thing first, let’s start with its unique features.
The Jean Bronze Power Lift Recliner offers a sleek and sophisticated transitional style on a smaller scale that is sure to complement any room you put it in. With a transitional piece, this lift recliner can blend in with just about anything.
Along with its transitional style, this lift recliner features softly curved arms that provide a fresh silhouette, an ultra-plush back that creates an elegant rounded look, and a convenient storage pouch on the side of the frame.
The Jean also features a smooth and empowering lift assist functionality, which offers help for those needing a boost off their butt and on their feet.
Using the ergonomically designed backlit wired remote, you can sit, stand, or fully recline at the touch of a button.
The seat and back move together in one smooth motion, eliminating gaps and providing full body support in all reclining positions. The power lift recliner also features a power tilt and independent back and legrest motion.
Because the Jean is a Bronze Power Lift Recliner, this chair only features simple power reclining features, and not added luxuries like an adjustable headrest, lumbar support or heat & massage.

Sizes & Dimensions
When comparing your space to any new furniture item, it is always important to Measure Your Room.
Regarding the size & dimensions of the Jean, the size is smaller than other lift recliners at La-Z-Boy, making it perfect for smaller rooms in retirement homes, or an apartment.
The Jean is also best suited for someone who is shorter to average height, specifically those between the heights of 5’9” and under.
While your height can be a considerable factor, it is important to note that height guidelines are NOT set in stone. The way you sit in a furniture item can drastically affect how someone might find a seat comfortable.

Fabric & Leather Options
La-Z-Boy has over 800 fabrics and leathers to choose from, making the experience of personalizing your furniture seemingly endless.
When it comes to choosing select fabrics, the Jean comes in 5 select fabric covers. These fabric covers do not increase the price of your Jean furniture.
When it comes to leather options, your options are only limited to recycled leather, which is very similar to faux leather. All leather options, including the select leather selection, will always increase the overall cost.
Ultimately, the choice of choosing fabric or leather is up to you if you’re willing to spend extra cash on leather products.

Rechargeable Battery Pack-On
The Jean Lift Power Recliner requires a power source, but if you prefer your chair not to be tethered to a wall, consider purchasing the Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Pack.
For $300, this battery pack replaces the Jean’s corded power supply, allowing you to place it anywhere in the room.

Regarding cost, the Jean Power Lift Recliner products fall within the low-price range at La-Z-Boy.
While the cost of the Jean is considered quite standard at La-Z-Boy, it is important to note that La-Z-Boy furniture is considered more expensive on the market. This cost is reflected in the quality of materials and craftsmanship of our products. With this, the investment tends to be worthwhile if you are looking for long-lasting furniture.

The Jean is covered by La-Z-Boy’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of the frame, spring systems, and mechanism, given that they are quality-crafted and built for long-lasting comfort.

While still quality-crafted, other aspects of the product, such as fabrics, leather, and cushions, are not meant to last a lifetime. However, these parts are still covered by the La-Z-Boy Manufacturer’s Warranty for a given period of time.
