Dorian Recliner

If you’re looking for a single seat in your room, the Dorian recliner is perfect for individualized comfort. 

Simply use the convenient handle on the outside right arm to place it in a reclining position. If you’re left-handed, you can choose to place the handle on the left side at an additional cost.

The Dorian is available as a rocking recliner or a wall recliner. The Rocking Recliner can rock without reclining, while the Wall Recliner can recline near a wall.

Dorian Reclining Loveseat

Adding an extra seat to the recliner, the Dorian Reclining Loveseat is perfect for anyone wanting to share their lounging with friends and family or snuggling up to that special someone.

Instead of a handle, use the latch on either side to conveniently release the legrest and push back to fully recline.

Dorian Reclining Sofa

Lastly, we have the Dorian Reclining Sofa, a three-seater perfect for any family-friendly seating arrangement. Like the loveseat, use the latch on either end of the sofa to raise the legrest and recline in the outer seats.

Unique Features

Based on appearance alone, there is much to be said about the Dorian furniture family.

The Dorian features large-scaled proportions to its framing, with soft cushions wrapped around the seating area and tapered armrests for a laid-back modern furniture style. Comfort is scaled up, with an inviting bucket chaise seat that encourages you to kick your feet up and relax. 

This furniture family also features a pub-styled back that creates a refined casual appearance, as well as topstitching patterns from head to toe.

Upon sitting down on the Dorian, Lina noted that even though the seat had a bucket chaise, it was a little firmer than others. “It is definitely a firmer seat and it feels like the chair keeps you more upright than other recliners.” 

This is because of its tall back, which is not only suitable for taller users but is great for support for those with back pain.

Sizes & Dimensions

The size and dimensions can reveal a lot about a furniture frame. Before purchasing any new furniture item in a room, you should make sure to Measure Your Space. 

At first glance, the Dorian furniture family is larger than other styles offered at La-Z-Boy due to the exposed wings and armrests from the generous cushioning.

Compared to other La-Z-Boy furniture families, Dorian has plenty of customization options to choose from. Keep in mind that the cost of the Dorian furniture will increase with your selection of options and upgrades.  

Fabric & Leather Options

La-Z-Boy has over 800 fabrics and leathers to choose from, making the experience of personalizing your furniture seemingly endless.

When choosing fabrics, the Dorian comes in 4 select fabric covers.  Customers can choose between porcelain, metal, oatmeal, and cocoa. There are also 4 faux leather select cover options available. These faux leather options include fossil, smoke, sand and camel. 

Select fabrics are specifically chosen to match a particular furniture frame and do not affect the starting price of your furniture.

As for the leather selection, a leather match is also available, as well as recycled leather for Alternative Leather Options. All leather options, including the select faux leather, will always increase the overall cost.

Ultimately, choosing between fabric or leather is up to you if you’re willing to spend extra cash on leather products.

Power Upgrade

You can upgrade the Dorian Recliners, Loveseat, and Sofa to power. 

Instead of using a handle or a latch, like on the manual furniture, the power recliner has a control panel on the right side of the chair, while the power recliner sofa and loveseat have two control panels on each side. With this, you can recline at the touch of a button. 

The rocking and wall recliner has a side-mounted 4-button control panel used to recline in multiple positions, while the loveseat and sofa only have two buttons to control the legrests and backs. 

Each power upgrade also has USB ports next to the control panels to charge your electronic devices.

Adjustable Headrest & Lumbar Support

In power, the Dorian rocking and wall recliner, loveseat, and sofa can include an additional feature, adjustable headrest support. 

With this, you can adjust the headrest with a power tilt to cradle your head and neck. 

Another upgrade includes adjustable lumbar support with the headrest tilt function. In this case, the lumbar support can expand or deflate to perfectly match the unique curvature of your lumbar spine. 

What’s more, the recliners each have two memory settings that allow you to save any of your favourite relaxing positions. This way, you can easily recline back to the position you favour quickly and accurately.

Console Upgrade (Loveseat Only)

The Dorian Reclining Loveseat can include a console in the middle of the seat. This handy center console adds extra storage. 

Included cup holders allow you to sit back and relax without having to get up to grab a drink. Further, the console offers an additional interior electronic charging input on top of the ports outside the loveseat.

Cost

In terms of cost, the Dorian furniture products fall within the low-mid price range at La-Z-Boy.

Lina says the recliners are in the lower price range, while the loveseat and sofa are considered mid. “The cost of a sofa can almost be double the price of the recliner,” she says.

While the cost of the Dorian furniture is considered standard at La-Z-Boy, it is important to note that La-Z-Boy furniture is considered more expensive on the market. Warranty

The Dorian Furniture Family has La-Z-Boy’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, which covers the repair or replacement of the frame, spring systems, and mechanism, given that they are quality-crafted and built for long-lasting comfort.

While still quality-crafted, other aspects of the product, such as fabrics, leather, and cushion, are not meant to last a lifetime. However, these parts are still covered by the La-Z-Boy Manufacturer’s Warranty for a given time.
